# AI car search

> A car search site. Each record is a car that a dealer offers for sale.

A record holds the make, model, variant, year, mileage, fuel, transmission, body type, equipment, price, location, dealer and listing status. A fact the dealer has not supplied is marked as unknown.

Leido shows two kinds of listings: listings whose facts the dealer approved, and listings collected from dealers' own websites. A listing from a dealer's website links to the original listing and gives the date Leido checked it. Leido adds no facts of its own.

A listing from a dealer's website holds facts only. Its photos stay on the dealer's website: Leido links to each photo and gives an AI description of them. Each company contact names the page it was read from and the date.

To have a listing from a dealer's website, or the dealer's page, removed, write to company@rankfor.ai.

Responses may be cached for up to 60 seconds. A car that is sold, withdrawn, expired or unpublished leaves every page and endpoint within that time.

Each answer states one of three results. `supported`: published cars match, and up to 5 are listed, cheapest first. `needs_clarification`: the question is too broad or contradicts itself, and the answer gives follow-up links. `no_support`: no published car matches, or the catalogue holds no such information.
